Our 2012 Irie Zinfandel, produced in only 354 cases, is one of our exclusive wines created by Justin Murphy representing the third generation of the Smith Family. To protect and enhance the fruit characters, the Zinfandel is fermented in open-top tanks and kept cool during ferment to extract color and intensity. Once the grape is pressed out, the soft wine is collected and barreled down for an extended storage time.
This full-bodied yet soft wine has initial herbal notes that then transform into mouth-coating ripe plum and sweet fruit followed by hints of leather. Delicious flavors of jammy berries and milk chocolate round out the luscious, lingering finish.

Our 2012 Zinfandel holds up well with the bold flavors of barbeque ribs, savory sausages and grilled meats, or even a zesty tomato-based pasta or hearty Cioppino.
